Exclusion of the right of withdrawal for food supplements
Under Swiss law (Article 40a of the Swiss Code of Obligations), there is no right of withdrawal for sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene. As our products are food supplements, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for health and hygiene reasons, regardless of whether the products are opened or unopened. This policy serves exclusively to protect your safety as well as the safety of all our customers.
Why is there no right of withdrawal? Your safety comes first
Food supplements are sensitive products that are intended for consumption. Unlike clothing, electronics or other consumer goods, they are subject to specific hygiene and safety requirements. For this reason, special legal provisions apply to this product category in order to protect consumers.
Once an order has been dispatched, we are no longer able to verify the conditions under which a product has been stored. Factors such as heat, humidity, direct sunlight or improper storage cannot be reliably assessed. Even if the packaging appears intact, it cannot be ruled out that product quality may have been compromised.
Accepting and redistributing food supplements would therefore pose a risk. In order to ensure that every customer receives only a fresh, unopened product that has been stored correctly, we consistently refrain from accepting returns.
Transport and storage conditions beyond our control
As soon as a product leaves our controlled warehouse, we can no longer fully monitor storage and transport conditions. Temperature fluctuations or other environmental influences may occur during shipping or after delivery.
Our products are designed and packaged to withstand standard shipping conditions. However, we cannot control how products are stored by customers or how they may be handled during a potential return. Carrying out a renewed quality inspection of every returned unit would not be technically feasible and would not allow us to guarantee complete product safety.
Responsibility towards all customers
If we were to accept returns, these products would either have to be destroyed or reintroduced into circulation. Destroying flawless products would not be sensible from either an ecological or an economic perspective. Reintroducing them into circulation is not an option for reasons of product safety.
The exclusion of the right of withdrawal ensures that every delivered package comes directly from our controlled warehouse and has not previously been in the possession of another person. This is a central element of our understanding of quality and safety.
Legal basis
The Swiss Code of Obligations (Art. 40a) explicitly provides that there is no right of withdrawal for sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene. This provision serves to protect consumers and applies not only in Switzerland, but also reflects common European standards.
The legislator thereby acknowledges the particular responsibility associated with consumable products. The exclusion of the right of withdrawal is therefore not a restriction of your rights, but a necessary protective measure.
Our quality standards
SwissNutri develops and distributes its products in accordance with strict quality requirements. Each production batch is carefully monitored, from the selection of raw materials through to final packaging. Filling and sealing take place under hygienically controlled conditions.
Our products are stored in suitable facilities where temperature and humidity are monitored. This ensures that every order leaves our warehouse in perfect condition.
What to do in case of problems
If you receive a delivery with damaged packaging or if the seal appears to be intact, please contact us immediately at support@swissnutri.ch. In such cases, please send us photographs of the damage. We will review the matter and take care of a solution as quickly as possible.
If you have received an incorrect product or an incorrect quantity, we will of course rectify this error without delay.
If you notice any irregularities such as unusual odour, discolouration or damaged capsules, please do not use the product and contact us immediately. Your safety is our highest priority.
